Pick up from hotel and transfer to domestic airport for flight to Hualien. Take bus to Taroko Gorge Gateway to visit Eternal Spring Shrine, Swallow Caves, Tunnel of Nine Turns, Tienhsiang Logde, Marble Factory, Chi Hsing Beach and Hualien Stone Sculptural Park. Take a bus to Taipei and transfer back to hotel. |

Visit Taipei and National Palace Museum. The National Palace museum ranks as one of the four best museums in the world, in a class with the Louvre, the British Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Some of the oldest artifacts in the collection of the museum are pieces of prehistoric pottery over 5,000 years old. The vast majority of these art objects are from the private collections of China’s emperors. Included in the collection is artifacts made from jade, bronze, porcelain, lacquerware and enamel. There is also tapestry, embroidery and many priceless documents and books containing excellent examples of ancient Chinese calligraphy.
In the afternoon, you will explore Taipei on your own.
